The playback tracking can be adjusted inside the game on the SETTINGS page. The key is to decrease the tracking volume to the lowest setting possible so that you can hear an immediate verbal response without clicks. With the newer computer hardware running in the Microsoft(r) environment (Windows 2000 for example), you are allowed to turn the tracking all the way to zero. This absolutely nullifies the return voice delay.
